After two weeks this piece really is not big enough to have its own hanger, but it gives a sense of scale.
I rather think I should have cleaned the glass on this cupboard before taking the photo - I see it still has the marks from the fingerprint guy after we were burgled a few years ago. He said not to clean it right away, so I took him at his word.
Up to 83 pieces this week - I think a change of scale might be desirable if this is ever going to turn in to anything. Perhaps a quilt for one of the toys in the cupboard?
I will link up with Life Under Quilts when America wakes up. Good morning!
Also linking up with Knotted Cotton's Slow Blog Linky - I think this will be a slow one!
Love your EPP - it´s going to be fantastic if you have the Patience to go on ;-)
ReplyDeleteLovely colour choice for your cute project.
ReplyDeleteIt's just lovely, don't think about the outcome just enjoy the process :)
ReplyDeletethis is so much smaller than I first though. amazing!
ReplyDeleteand leave the fingerprint marks.. gives the furniture a sense of history. I think even my dust can tell a story. (hubs doesn't agree though)
This is really beautiful, please keep going even though it takes longer to grow.
ReplyDeleteThank you Tractor Girl. I tried to thank you by email. but it seems your settings make you a "no reply blogger". I've just been over to look at your work and I love your union jack colours!
DeleteMy goodness! I had no idea it was this small....lots of work ahead of you at this size...would make a cute doll quilt though..
ReplyDeleteOh my goodness!! That cabinet is a treasure trove, the books, the BOOKS...gasp.

ReplyDeleteCleaning, what's that?:-) I love your patchwork - the colours and the pattern. I imagine it's going to take ages, but I'm looking forward to seeing it progressing!
ReplyDeleteSo pretty! How about the centre for a medallion quilt of some kind? It's far too good for a doll...
ReplyDeleteThe different values in your blue and red fabrics really make your quilt come alive.
ReplyDeleteIt's beautiful! You should keep going, it's perfect. It would look fantastic in the centre of a table.
ReplyDeleteWhat a great little piece... the red makes the blue all the more beautiful. What an interesting treasure filled cupboard too!
ReplyDeleteI am still loving this!! The hanger certainly does give us an idea of size....and I do think it deserves to be on a hanger--it's fabulous!!!
